How to set up a boost ad:
Agent campaign edition

  1. Log into MyCBDesk and head to the Boost tile.













  2. From your dashboard, you’ll select the Set-up your campaign blue button. Click it.















  3. You’ll be taken to a dashboard where you can modify your ad.

















  4. Starting at the top, you’ll edit:

    Special Offers: Choose your subscription type (they have the price for bundles, or you can view the monthly price for month-to-month ads at the bottom near the green bar).

    Ad Creative: Click the small edit button.

    You’ll update your agent photo and the background at the top. If you want to upgrade to video, it’s a higher price, but videos are seen more often. Likely a higher ROI.

    If you click edit video, you’ll need to upload your own video with an aspect ratio of 16:9 (landscape), 1:1 (square), or 9:16 (portrait) format. Video ads must be 20 seconds or less.

    If you’re okay with a static ad, you’ll select your Business Page by clicking Change page

    You’ll need to log in to Facebook (remember your username and password!) and click Connect.










  5. Once connected, you’ll be able to select a business page. YOUR business page should pop up. If it doesn’t, see Marketing to troubleshoot.












  6. Click the page you want to use (your agent business page) and click Update Facebook Page. The ad preview on the left will update to reflect that page is promoting/sponsoring the ad.

    Your Name and Brokerage are next. Coldwell Banker The Property Exchange is the EXACT number of characters for the max count. Please use it 😊Facebook Headline: Make it specific to you. If you can put ANYONE’s name there, then it’s not specific enough. Keep this short and less than 3 lines because they’re going to be watching the video. NOT reading. Title: Put your Name and Phone. Facebook Link Description: Put your specialty (Residential, Seniors, Military, Relocation, etc etc).Remember that you can click the options for Social ad, Web ad, Landing page at the top of the preview on the left to see how your ad copy changes with each location. Click Save and Update. Add your Billing Information.

    Where should ad clicks go? Will either be a page that Boost hosts (see below) or a URL you will enter.

    If you enter a URL, it’s advised that it is NOT your main homepage, and it is instead a landing page dedicated to this ad. Content is written directly for the individuals you’re trying to capture from this ad.

















  7. Who will see this ad? Allows you to set a diameter around a specific area. If you need more than one area? Then you need more than one ad. Once you click Order Now & Run Ad, it will be approved to run for the specified time range you chose above.
